The C-track Solo-SAT201 system is designed to meet the various operational requirements in remote areas that has no GSM network. Positioning information from vehicles or remote assets is sent via satellite communication at any time without the usage of the GSM network. With the Ctrack Solo unit, full fleet management capability is assured. In case the area is partly covered with GSM reception the C-track Solo-SAT201 automatically switches to the GSM SMS/GPRS mode.
In additionally, Google Earth can be used as web based system for easy access to information of the vehicle or remote asset.
C-track base station and the C-track fleet management software
In general, the fleet management software that is installed on the base station is a tracking, mapping and reporting application that enables people to accomplish a serie of specific tasks in the management of any or all aspects related to a fleet of vehicles. The software, allows the fleet manager to add locations on the mapo, to monitor the position, violations (like speeding), and route of the vehicles. The software provide remote control features such as polling, geofencing and immobilization. The fleet manager is also able to create several reports.
